Adidas Watch
My beater watch for 10 years What? A new blog for watches ? How original ! But, hey why not. I've done that with cameras - why can't I write something about the watches I am wearing? And here it is - starting with the first one: this Adidas watch. This watch was a present from my cousin to me for being the best man in his wedding. He paid around 120 euros more than 20 years ago so it was an expensive watch back then (for my budget at least). I can't find a lot of information regarding this watch. What I have found so far is the in the late 90s and early 00s - Adidas sourced some cases from Timex and used Miyota movement for their watches. Mine is using the Miyota OS10 movement and has been accurate all those years. The case seems to be chrome plated brass and shows signs of wear - actually it started showing signs of wear early on so I don't think it is a high quality plating.
